He aqui una joya que a quedado a nuestro alcance gracias a los generadores de la misma: esta obra, fruto de una banda generada en los albores de la decada de los 90 puede considerarse como una parte fundamental de los pilares que mas tarde darian a luz a esa domoledora maquina de hacer ruido que es la escena nacional.
Por aquellos dias la escena mas fuerte estaba en el norte del pais y en el centro apenas se iba fraguando el portento ruidoso que hoy es el leif motiv este blog, sobre La Secuencia Ilogica podria decir mil cosas, pero dejemos que sean ellos mismos, en las palabras de Eduardo Martinez U. [voz de LSI] quienes nos cuenten su historia y la vision que ellos mismos tienen de este trabajo:
´´Formada en 1993, La Secuencia Ilógica fue un proyecto complejo, difícil de digerir, pero meticulosamente diseñado para satisfacción personal, con letras introvertidas, en primera persona, auto-flagelantes, cajas de ritmos, secuencias electrónicas, guitarras distorsionadas, sampleos, voces viscerales, dualizadas, con una voz subconsciente y otra voz ejecutante, Dr. Jeckyl &; Mr. Hyde, Autómata, enfermo, hereje, victima, Cazador y presa.
La banda estaba formada por Edú en la voz, coros y sampleos, Jose Luis Martinez en el bajo y la programación, Erik Solis en Teclados, Juan Carlos Solis y Oscar Chiñas en las guitarras, Hugo Torres y Arturo ”El Gato” Rivera en las baterías y percusiones.
Iniciaron con un concepto oscuro, con destellos de The Cure en la época de Standing on a Beach y Pixies de Surfer Rosa, durante esta época grabaron un demo bajo la producción del bajista de ANSIA, Vicoy Calderon, que fue recibido satisfactoriamente por el publico, Aunque satisfechos con el sonido, el espectro sónico se fue dirigiendo mas al lado eléctronico´´ (...) ´´La Producción se titulo, V.I.H. 1.997 haciendo analogía a las siglas del Virus De Inmunodeficiencia Humano, pero en realidad llamándose Viaje Interno al Hombre, donde conceptualmente se narraba la historia de una persona que pasa de victima a verdugo, al recorrer un largo camino de seducción, amor, desamor, traición, desengaño, revelación, enfermedad, decadencia, odio y muerte. El Disco no se logro colocar en ninguna disquera y después de acercamientos infructuosos con Sony music, Discos DEDO y Opción Sónica, la banda se disuelve, cerrando un ciclo de cinco años.´´
El sonido de La Secuencia Ilogica no es netamente electronico, pero su contribucion fue fundamental en la construccion de la floreciente escena de musica electronica nacional, mostrandonos otras posibilidades, otros caminos.... algunos de sus integrantes seguirian colaborando en otros proyectos como La Concepcion de la Luna quien participa en este demo haciendo una remezcla del corte denominado ´´Inmater´´.
